Unexpected Visitors can be a pleasant surprise or of inconvenience, depending on how you see it and who it may be.

I'm quite different from you, but we're not too different.

Isagenix Diet, Day 2&3

This second day of this diet was the most challenging. Hunger pains like no other. But I’m just glad I willed through it. It was more of a blur than anything. Kept myself occupied by studying all day which distracted me. So thankful for all my friends. They all tried to hide food around me so I won’t feel hungry.

THIRD DAY is here, hooray hoorah! Solid foods. I’m allowed to eat ONE MEAL (lunch) between 400-600 Calories. So for lunch today, I had:

Salmon (340), cabbage (17x3)  and whole grain brown rice (140) and garlic (4), soy sauce (10) oyster sauce (25) and salt for seasoning. Making it a grand total of about 570 Calories.

What I did:

Blanched the cabbage, drain, mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce and garlic. Make 1/4 cup of rice with 3/4 cups of water. Dried and de-fat as much as I can, the salmon. Threw on some lemon pepper seasoning (which is 0 Calories!) and baked it in the oven at 425degC for about 20 minutes.

Blanching the cabbage eliminated any oil needed to stir-fry veggies. I made more than enough cabbage and munched on it while I was waiting for fish to finish baking… and I shouldn’t have finished the fish, but I was hungry. I will eat less tomorrow, possibly. Extra water in the rice plumps up the brown rice and make it even more filling. I’m pretty stuffed and satisfied =]

That’s all I have for the diet it so far… I bought a scale on amazon and as soon as I get it, I will update on how much I have lost so far.

INSANITY exercise tonight!

Hopeful,

Joyce.
